Obituary for Arthur P. "Art" Margelot
Arthur P. Margelot, 52, of Kunkletown passed away suddenly on Monday December 30 in the Palmerton Hospital.
He was the husband of Maryanne (Campbell) Margelot. They were high school sweethearts and married on May 12 1984.
Born in Paterson, NJ he was a son of Arthur Margelot of Hope, NJ and the late Alyce (Braun) Margelot.
A dental technician for thirty years, he had owned and operated A & M Restorations in Kunkletown.
He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert.
Art enjoyed golfing with his buddies and hunting and fishing with his sons. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Art had a special way of touching everybody's lives near and far and making everyone laugh. He will be missed by all but never forgotten.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by two sons, Andrew Margelot and his wife Danielle of Easton and A.J. Margelot of Kunkletown; two grandchildren, Alexander James Margelot and Reagan Joan Margelot ; four sisters, Sara Cook of Blairstown, NJ, Nancy Sapounas of Hooksett, NH, Patricia Mayberry of Sioux City, IA and Donna McDaniel of Knoxville, TN and his stepmother, Nancy Margelot.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 4 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville. A visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Gilbert Cemetery.
