Loretta Chiaramonte, 71, of Albrightsville, died Monday, July 21 in the hospice unit at Geisinger South Hospital, Wilkes Barre.

She was the wife of the late Frank Pietrowicz.

Born in Brooklyn, NY she was a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Welsch) Howe.

She was a member of Saint Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Lake Harmony.

Loretta was a loving and caring person, totally devoted to her grandchildren. She was an avid bingo player.

She is survived by two sons, Keith Chiaramonte of Long Island, NY and Frank Pietrowicz of Long Island, NY; two daughters, Karen Pietrowicz of Albrightsville and Casey Greenfield and her husband David of Albrightsville; a sister, Gertrude McDonnell of Fort Myers, FL; ten grandchildren, Danny and his wife Krystal, Jerry, Amanda, Alyssa, Kyle, Brandon, Keith, James, Kayla and Kathryn and two great grandchildren, Jamir and Jase. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Chiaramonte.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 25 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
