Frank P. Pejsa, 83, of Effort died Friday, July 25 in the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg.

He was the husband of the late Ruth (Wuest) Pejsa.

Born in Prague, Czech Republic, he was a son of the late Rudolph and Anastasia Pejsa.

He had worked as a bookkeeper for the German Society of New York in New York City for twenty seven years before retiring in 1997.

When he was younger, Frank love skiing, boating and hunting. In his later years he loved to travel, but he especially loved his family.

He is survived by two daughters, Peggy Celuch of Wilton, CT and Yvette Carscadden of Hazlet, NJ; a son, Paul Pejsa in the Czech Republic and five grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation will take place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.

The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, is in charge of arrangements.
