Ruth L. Paul, 90, a resident of Pleasant Valley Manor in Snydersville and formerly of Lehighton, died Monday, September 1 in the VNA/Hospice House, East Stroudsburg.

She was the wife of the late Norman E. Paul. They were married for 61 years before his death in 2008.

Born in Effort, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Bond) Bollinger.

She had formerly belonged to the Lehighton Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by her cousins, including Ruthann Pope of East Stroudsburg.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday September 6 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. Raymond Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Effort. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.
