Obituary for Mary Catherine McCarthy (Titone)
Mary Catherine McCarthy, aged 72, of Saylorsburg, PA passed into God's presence on October 6, 2014. She was born to the late Dominick Titone and Mary (Caiazzo) Titone in Bayonne, NJ.
Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, always putting others before herself. Her love for those around her was evident in everyday life.
She was an active member of Zion United Lutheran Church in Brodheadsville, PA. She worked as a receptionist at Hair Excellence Salon in Stroudsburg for fifteen years and had grown to love her co-workers like family.
Mary is survived by her brother, Richard Titone and wife Susan; husband Frank McCarthy; children Stephen Siker, Jacqueline Garofalo and husband Robert, Darren Siker and wife Trish; grandchildren Cassandra, Robert and Heather Garofalo; step-children, Kathleen McCarthy, Marilyn Griffin and husband Bryan, James McCarthy, John McCarthy and Michael McCarthy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 11 from Zion United Lutheran Church with Rev. Ann Melot officiating. Cremation will follow in the H. G. Smith Crematory. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service from the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion United Lutheran Church, 1919 Route 209 Brodheadsville, PA 18322.
