Mary P. Stone, 71, of Mount Pocono, PA passed away on Wednesday, October 29 in the VNA/Hospice House, East Stroudsburg.

She was the wife of the late William H. Stone who died in 2013.

Born in Bronx, NY she was a daughter of the late Willard and Florence (Helion) Guinn.

She had worked as a nurses aide in the Vanderbilt Nursing Home in Staten Island, NY for nine years.

Mary enjoyed knitting and crocheting and the shopping network and food channels on TV. She was a loving wife. mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Mary is survived by three daughters, Christine Gervais and her husband Christopher of Staten Island, Susan Scully of Staten Island and Patricia Moore and her husband Joseph of Brodheadsville; a son, William Stone Jr. of Mount Pocono; a sister, Dolores Forkin of Tannersville and seven grandchildren, Allison, Abigail, Joseph, Travis, Matthew, Claudia and Courtney. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Longinetti.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 3 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. Michael Quinnan officiating. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville. A viewing wil be held on Monday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
