Kalman J. Prost, 75, of Saylorsburg, died Monday, November 17 in his home.

He was the husband of Arlene (Johnson) Prost.

Born in Brooklyn, NY he was a son of the late Kalman and Katrina (Malast) Prost

He had worked as an electronics engineer for over thirty years, retiring from L-3 Communications in Camden, NJ in 2000.

In the 1970's, he was one of the founders of the East Windsor Fire Co. in NJ.

He was of the Catholic faith.

In addtion to his wife, he is survived by three children, Laura Brooks and her husband John, Lisa Vitulli and her husband Bill and Richard Prost and his wife Eden; two brothers, George Prost and his wife Diana in FL and Bobby Prost and his wife Nancy in NC and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother John Prost and by a sister Johanna Sestak.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 22 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. Michael Quinnan officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Effort. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
