John J. Corr Jr., 44, of Blakeslee, PA, died Tuesday, December 2 in his home.

He was the husband of Valerie (Cassibba) Corr.

Born in Brookhaven, NY, he was the son of Doris (Kroncke) Corr of Yaphank, NY and the late John J. Corr Sr.

John had been a maintenance mechanic at Dependable Stage and Gymnasium Services in Center Moriches, NY for over 14 years.

He loved doing things with his children. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved his dogs. He truly had a heart of gold.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Anthony Tucci and wife Sabrina of Shirley, NY; two daughters, Julia Corr of Blakeslee and Alyssa Corr of Blakeslee; a sister, Donna Copenhaver and husband Randy of Center Moriches, NY; a grandson Cameron Tucci and two nephews, Drew and Curtis.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6 at 2:00 PM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, PA
