Gustave Jacob Lengle, 102, of Lake Harmony, died Sunday, January 4 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazelton.

He was the husband of the late Marguerite (Hellmuth) Lengle.

Born in Newark, NJ he was a son of the late Jacob Gustave and Anna (Michaleck) Lengle.

He had worked as a shipping and receiving manager for J. Wiss & Sons in Newark for forty five years before retiring in 1974. After his retirement, he did volunteer work at Point Pleasant Hospital in Point Pleasant, NJ. Upon moving to Lake Harmony he was a volunteer with the Lake Harmony Volunteer Fire Co. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are two sons, Bob Lengle and his wife Marjorie of Lake Harmony and Bill Lengle and his wife Mary in NC; two grandchildren, Dawn Minney and Chris Lengle and three great grandchildren, Kayla, Hunter and Jordan.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation will take place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.

The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, is in charge of arrangements.
