Obituary for Kim LeRoy Rinker

Kim LeRoy Rinker, 60, of Brodheadsville, died Friday, January 16 in his home.

He was the husband of Concetta (Zito) Rinker. They had observed their 34th wedding anniversary in April.

Born in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late LeRoy and Mary (Serfass) Rinker.

Kim was a carpenter for most of his adult life. He also owned and operated Rinker's Antiques in Brodheadsville for thirty years. He loved woodworking, carpentry and antiques and collectibles.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Justin Rinker of Fairfax, VA and Michael Rinker of Washington DC; a daughter, Beth Rinker of Brodheadsville and two grandchildren, Sophie and Andrew.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 21 at 7:00 PM from Cornerstone Community Church, 388 Polk Twp. Road, Kresgeville, PA with Rev. Stuart Szmaciasz officiating. There will be a visitation on Wednesday at 6:00 PM until the time of the service. Cremation will have taken place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Community Church, 388 Polk Twp. Road, Kresgeville, PA 18333.

The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, is in charge of arrangements.
