Martin E. Lipyanic, 68, of Wind Gap passed away on Saturday, January 24 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg surrounded by his loving family and friends.

He was the loving husband of Darlene (Keller) Lipyanic. They had observed their 44th wedding anniversary in August.

Born on June 1, 1946 in Brodheadsville, he was a son of the late John Lipyanic Sr. and the late Florence (Buskirk) Lipyanic.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 724 in Wind Gap and the PARC.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving daughter Lisa Lipyanic and her fiance Ryan Lee; a son Randy; grandchildren, Adrianna, Adam, Emily and Madison; brothers, Phillip, Gerald,, Mike and Mark and a sister Dee Dee. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Jr., Patrick and Tom, by a sister Theresa and by a grandson, Andrew.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 31 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Phillip Lipyanic officiating. Burial will be in Wind Gap Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
