Margaret M. Keiper, 71, of Pocono Pines, died Saturday, February 21 in her home.

She was the wife of Gerald W. Keiper. They had observed their 29th wedding anniversary in October.

Born in Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Charlotte (Kibler) Charnak.

She had been a member of the American Legion Wilson Fisher Post 413 Ladies Auxiliary in Pocono Lake.

Margaret loved ceramics and bingo. She was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Denise Gray of Mountain Top; a brother, John Charnak of Nesquehoning and a sister, Mary Ann Macerki of New Ringgold. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Ann Knecht in 2014.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 4 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. David Felker officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Pocono Lake Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
