Obituary for William R. Kinsley Jr.

William R. Kinsley Jr., 85, of Effort died Thursday, April 2 in his home.

He was the husband of the late Margaret (Franke) Kinsley.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late William R. Kinsley Sr. and the late Emma (Cowell) Kinsley.

Bill was a cinematographer in the United States Armed Forces from 1948 until 1981,first with the Army Air Corp., then the Air Force, and then finally with the US Navy. He retired from the Navy in 1981.

He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert.

Bill is survived by seven children, Linda Puzauskas of Marlton, NJ, William R. Kinsley III in FL, Michael Kinsley of Tannersville, Margaret E. Kinsley of Tannersville, Theresa Rennekamp of Lake Ariel, Danielle Grannetino of Nazareth and Laura Butler of Stroudsburg; a brother, Earl Kinsley of Bethlehem; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Noreen Bryant-Moreland and by a brother, Robert Kinsley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, April 7 from Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Quinnan as celebrant. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville. A viewing will be held on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville.
