Tobee L. Capozzi, 40, of Blakeslee, died Monday, April 13 in the Brookmont Health Care Center, Effort.

She was the wife of Ben Capozzi. They had observed their 18th wedding anniversary in August.

Born in Toms River, NJ, she was a daughter of Randy Newell of Blakeslee and Susen (Iovine) Eustice of Boynton Beach, FL.

Tobee had been a client care manager for Beck 'N Call Home Health Agency in East Stroudsburg for the past two years. Previously, she had worked at Brookmont Health Care Center for six years and as an ER Tech at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg for ten years. A graduate of Stroudsburg School of Cosmetology, she had also worked as a hairdresser at Holiday Hair in Wind Gap and at 20 Minute Hair in Pen Argyl.

Tobee was a 1993 graduate of Pocono Mountain High School and she also attended Northampton County Community College. She was a lifetime member of the West End Ambulance, where she was an EMT for eighteen years. With Tobee, it was always about other people and taking care of their needs. She took part in the Alzheimers Walk the past two years and while working at Pocono, she played softball on the PMC Roadrunners for ten years.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by two sisters, Kerri Winter of Lansford and Dawn Plante of East Bangor; a brother, Michael Palys and his wife Bridget of Raleigh, NC; two nieces, Emma Grace and Lilly Rayne Palys and two nephews, Jerry Lewis Umstead and Herbert A. Jennings Jr..

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 18 from 4:00 to 9:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville. Cremation will have taken place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
