Obituary for Adrian Patrick "Paddy" Corcoran

Adrian Patrick Corcoran, 75, of Stroudsburg, died Friday May 1 in his home.

He was the husband of Gloria (Brockway) Corcoran. They had observed their 20th wedding anniversary in October.

Born in Mount Kisco, NY, he was a son of the late Lester and Muriel (Cook) Corcoran.

Paddy was a railroad engineer for Conrail in Bethlehem for thirty five years, retiring in 1995. He was also a Coast Guard veteran.

Paddy was an avid gun collector. He enjoyed fly fishing and loved riding his motorcycle. He donated to numerous charities, including the Native American Foundation, American Lung Association and the Wounded Warriors Project..

In addition to his wife, Paddy is survived by three children, Nadine Corcoran-Pereless of Locust, NJ, Mark Corcoran of Hellertown and Adrianne Corcoran-Mulvaney of Laguna Beach, CA; four step-children, Cari Young, Craig H. Dietzman and Cindy Dietzman, all of Hillsborough, NJ and Curt Dietzman of Bridgewater, NJ; five grandchildren, Nolan, Spencer, Cailin, Brennon and Hayley and two step-grandchildren, Ethan and Emily.

Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Cremation will take place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.

The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, is in charge of arrangements.
