Marjorie F. Krome, 94, of Gilbert died Tuesday June 23 in Heritage Hill Senior Community, Weatherly.

Born in Youngstown, OH, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Marjorie (Landers) Flick.

She was the wife of the late Marvin R. Krome.

She was an elementary school teacher in the Stroudsburg School District for over 32 years.

Marjorie was a member of The Order of The Easter Star. She was a member of the American Legion Auxilliary Post 927 in Gilbert. She was a past member of the Consistory of Salem United Church of Christ in Gilbert. She was also a historian for the church for many years.

She had a passion for Geneology and family history, and wrote two books centered around the family. She also enjoyed traveling through out her life.

Marjorie is survived by her son Larry and hise wife Patricia of Gilbert; daughters Marcy Krome of Mesa, Arizona and Cynthia Krome Lord and her husband Lieutenant General William T. Lord of Silver Lake, New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Steven and Terri Krome, Kristine and Jonathan Berry and Elizabeth Marcy Krome; four great grandchildren, Garrett and Allison Krome, Jonathan and Charles Berry and two nephews, Roger Zimmerman and Richard Leiby.

A graveside service will be held at the discrestion of the family. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville.
