Richard E. "Woody" Hayman, 74 of Pocono Lake died Tuesday, November 10 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Wilkes Barre.

He was the husband of Lois (Menna) Hayman. They would have observed their 35th wedding anniversary on November 28.

Born in Oakland, CA he was a son of Rodney Spencer Hayman of Walnut Creek, CA and the late Vivianne Elizabeth (Bull) Hayman.

He had owned and operated Woody's Country House in Blakeslee for 20 years. After selling the bar and restaurant he worked for Pocono Raceway for five years.

Woody was a US Navy veteran serving on the USS Forrestal.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by a son, James Hayman and his wife Becki of Wilmington, DE; three daughters, Heather Roberts and her husband Gary of Rices Landing, Nicolette Kulkikowski and her husband Michael of Swedesboro, NJ, and Angela Maiarino of Wellington, FL; a brother, Roddy Stephen Hayman and his wife Joann of Napa, CA; a sister, Sherry Erla Hayman-Rosica of Granite Bay, CA and five grandchildren, Ethan, Hannah, Nathaniel, Nicholas and Brandan.

Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2158 N. Main Ave., Stroudsburg, PA 18360.

The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, is in charge of arrangements.
