LaRue E.  Charron (Pfancook)
LaRue E. Charron, 92, of Bartonsville, died Friday, November 13 at Spring Village at Pocono in East Stroudsburg.

She was the wife of the late Lewis C. Charron.

Born in Polk Township, she was a daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Serfass) Pfancook.

She had worked as a seamstress at Valerie Fashions inn Wind Gap for over twenty years, retiring in 1985.

LaRue loved to do search-a-word puzzles. She was of the Lutheran faith.

She is survived by a son, Lamar Charron of Bartonsville; a sister, Pauline O'Toole of Lake Hiawatha, NJ; a daughter-in-law, Emily Charron of Hancock, NY; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Pfancook of Kresgeville and LaMae Charron of Emmaus; four grandchildren, Christopher, Amber, Tabitha and Jessica and six great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Eric Joseph, Wyatt, Indiana and Joseph.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 17 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. David Felker officiating. Burial will be in Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery in Trachsville. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
