Carolyn L. Heist, 98, of Brodheadsville, died Saturday, November 28 at Wesley Enhanced Living in Brodheadsville.

She was the wife of the late Clement W. Heist.

Born in East Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Myrtle (Warner) Rodenbach.

A 1936 graduate of Chestnuthill HIgh School, she had worked at R.W. Altemose in Brodheadsville for ten years. She was a member of Zion United Lutheran Church in Brodheadsville where she had sung on the church choir for many years. She was a former member of the Western Pocono Womens Club.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Dwight D. Heist of Brodheadsville. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Claude and Richard Rodenbach.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 1 at 11:00 AM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville. A viewing will be held on Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
