Carmela Mule, 92, of Jonas died Sunday, January 10 in the VNA/Hospice House, East Stroudsburg.

She was the wife of the late Ignazio Mule.

Born in Italy, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Agata Aiello.

Carmela had worked as a seamstress in a dress shop in Brooklyn, NY for twenty five years, retiring in 1976.

She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Rosemarie Ferriello of East Stroudsburg; a son, Nunzio Mule in FL; a daughter-in-law, Constance Mule of Hickory, NC and one brother and one sister in Italy. She was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Mule and by a grandson, Michael Ferriello.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 15 from Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Effort. A viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 AM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, PA.
