Muriel R. (Skip) Hildabrant, 90, of Saylorsburg passed away April 28, 2016. Muriel was born in Kearny, NJ, the daughter of the late Eric and Ruth (Hult) Allen. She was predeceased by brothers Eric Allen and Leonard Back.

Muriel is survived by her husband of seventy years, Charles L. Hildabrant and by daughters Kathleen H. Pogue and Carol H. Beckwith, son-in-law Dr. David Beckwith, grandchildren Ashley and Chad Gruver and Matthew Beckwith, great grandchildren Rowan and Hannah Gruver and several nieces and nephews.

Muriel was a loyal and active volunteer with the Western Pocono Community Library, Quiet Valley Living Farm Museum, and the Blue Ridge Hook and Ladder Auxiliary. She contributed over 1000 knitted bay hats to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Lehigh Valley Health Network and many quilts and other handmade items to various area charities.

Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
