Ferenc "Frank" Savai, 58, of Saylorsburg died Monday, May 30 in his home.

He was the husband of Veronica Ryan. They had observed their 8th wedding anniversary in August.

Frank was born on August 24, 1957 in Hungary.

He was an independent construction contractor in New York for fifteen years and prior to that he was a long distance truck driver. Previously he had worked for six years on a fishing fleet in Alaska.

He was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a step-daughter, Kim, in Arizona and his friends Joe Wynne and his wife Katie and their children Joey & Teagan of Saylorsburg. He was preceded in death by his best friend Ken Horton.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday June 4 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Cremation will have taken place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
