Obituary for Ronald J. Stueber

Ronald J. Stueber, 78, of Kunkletown passed away Sunday, June 19 peacefully at home.

He was the husband of Ruth J. (Purnell) Stueber. They would have observed their 55th wedding anniversary in July.

Born in Edison, NJ he was a son of the late Henry and Mary (Bodnarik) Stueber.

Ron was employed by NJ Bell for 39 years before retiring. After his retirement, he worked part-time at the Indian Mt. Golf Course in Kresgeville.
He was an avid golfer and a member of the senior golf league at Indian Mt.

He was a US Army veteran and a 32nd Degree Mason. He and his wife traveled extensively and they achieved their goal of visiting all fifty states. They also traveled to parts of Europe.

He was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Fords, Fords, NJ.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Ruth Ann Winders and her husband Cliff of Albrightsville and Barbara Farrell and her husband Brian of Gorham, ME; sisters-in-law, Mary Stueber of FL and Regina Lanci and her husband Ray of Philadelphia; three grandchildren, Steven Shuster and his wife Courtney of Danville, Kaitlyn Shuster of Albrightsville and Clifford Winders and his wife Casey of Effort and two great grandsons who were his pride and joy, Isaac Ronald Shuster of Danville and Gavin D. Winders of Effort. He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Stueber.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 25 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville with prayers and remembrances at 7:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Presbyterian Church of Fords, 97 Hoy Ave., Fords, NJ 08863 or to the Henry Cancer Center at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, 1000 E. Mountain Drive, Wilkes Barre, PA 18711.
