Obituary for Clair L. Kibler

Clair L. Kibler, 83, of Kunkletown, died Monday, July 18 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.

He was the husband of Faye D. (Borger) Kibler. They recently celebrated their 56th anniversary on June 18.

Born in Albrightsville, he was the son of the late Clyde and Anna (Knappenberger) Kibler.

Clair owned and operated Kibler's Well Drilling in the West End for over fifty years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Clair M. Kibler of Kunkletown, Scott R. Kibler and wife Angela of Effort; a daughter, Suzanne L. Burnett and husband Truman III of Effort; five sisters, Alice Getz of Kunkletown, Edna Brong of Kunkletown, Nancy Ratajzcak and husband John of Wilkes-Barre, Melba McArdle of Nesquehoning, Gloria Anewalt and husband Larry of Effort; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Blake, Matthew, Bryce, and Trevor. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Kibler, a brother Richard Kibler, and a sister Gladys Getz.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 21 at 7:30 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 U.S. 209 Brodheadsville. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21 from the Kresge Funeral Home at 6:30 PM until the time of the service. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
