Darlene C. (Frable) Dorshimer, 73, of Saylorsburg, died Monday, July 18 in her home.

She was the fiance' of Alfred Grassa.

Born in Saylorsburg, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Catherine (Halstead) Frable.

Darlene graduated from Chestnuthill High School in 1961.

She was the owner and operator of Dorshimer Plumbing with her former husband Dave and son Jeff for over thirty years. She also worked at Brodheadsville Family Practice.

Darlene was the type of person who genuinely cared for others and offered advice and help to anyone in need.

In addition to her fiance' Alfred, she is survived by a son, Jeffrey Dorshimer of Effort; two daughters, Andrea Hagialas and husband Peter of West Chester, Beth Seiwell and husband Brian of Downingtown; four grandchildren, Nikolas, Alexia, Olivia, and Maia. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Dorshimer, a sister, Carolyn Stevens, and a grandson, Matthew Seiwell.

According to Darlene's wishes, no services will be held. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg. Kresge Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
