Carolyn V. Curtin, 84, of Effort and formerly of Staten Island, NY died Saturday, August 27 in the Golden Living Center, East Stroudsburg.

She was the wife of the late Francis Xavier Regan, the late William Tell and the late Daniel Curtin.

Born in Brooklyn, NY she was a daughter of the late Norris and Carolyn (Sterns) Jacobsen.

She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert.

Carolyn is survived by two sons, Terrance Patrick Regan of Keansburg, NJ and Francis Xavier Regan Jr. in Iowa and a grandson Christopher Shawn Regan of Staten Island. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Shawn Regan and by a brother, Thomas Jacobsen.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 1 at 8:15 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Rev. Michael Quinnan officiating. Cremation will follow in the H. G. Smith Crematory. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:15 PM.
