Obituary for Ralph M. Reynolds

SGT Ralph Milton Reynolds USAF (Ret), 85, of Stroudsburg, formerly of Brodheadsville, died on Aug. 27 at The Hospice House of Monroe County after a long illness. Born in Stroudsburg on April 15, 1931, to the late Lloyd W. and Grace K. (Spitzner) Reynolds, he graduated from Ramsey Elementary School and Stroudsburg High School and served in the Air Force in France post-WWII, retiring in 1968. He worked as a bartender at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, a PLCB store clerk, and a van driver. In later years, he bought and sold collectibles at local flea markets. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nicole (Delavaud) Reynolds, and brothers Elwood J. and Lloyd H. Reynolds. He is survived by his brother, Kenneth E. Reynolds, and sister-in-law Lois M. (White) Reynolds of Abbottstown, PA; sister Marjorie L. Erich and brother-in-law Norman Erich of Plainfield Township; niece Jan Reynolds and her husband Eric Haggquist, of Arlington, VA; and members of the Delavaud family in France. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 24 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville with Bishop James Mills officiating. Interment of his cremated remains with full military honors will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. According to Ralph's wishes, the family requests no flowers.
