Lorraine June Shick Kraft, 90, passed away on Tuesday, August 30 at Pleasant Valley Manor, Snydersville.

She was the wife of Fred Kraft of Neola. They had observed their 34th wedding anniversary in June.

Born in Reeders, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Emma (Weiss) Warner.

Lorraine retired from Valerie Fashions in Wind Gap where she had worked for twenty years. In her younger years she worked at Ronson Corp. In Delaware Water Gap and at Laurel Diner in Tannersville.

She was a member of St. Mark's Community Lutheran Church in Appenzell and she was also a life-member of the Jackson Township Fire Co.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Howard Shick and his wife Margaret of Phoenix, AZ, Linda Rau of Stroudsburg, Beverly Koerner and her husband Art of Stroudsburg, Bonnie Duffy of Tobyhanna, Peggy Anderson and her husband Terry of Largo, FL and Martha Winters and her husband Dan of Devon; one sister, Catherine Plattenburg of Stroudsburg; fourteen grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren and thirteen great -great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Shick Sr., granddaughter Sherri Ace, grandson Jonathan Shick and great grandson Daniel Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 3 from St. Mark's Community Lutheran Church with Rev. Harry Laubach officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Appenzell. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service from the church.
