Daniel E. Kerrick, 86, of Blakeslee, died on Monday, Nov. 7 in his home.

He was the husband of June L. R. (Waltz) Kerrick. They would have observed their 65th wedding anniversary on Dec. 1st of this year.

Born in Stoddartsville, he was the son of the late Howard H. and Sarah (Hamill) Kerrick.

Daniel was a self-employed carpenter for most of his life.

He was a devout member of the Blakeslee United Methodist Church. He also served as a Justice of the Peace for thirteen years.

In addition to his wife, Daniel is survived by three sons, Robert Kerrick and wife Sarah of Elkland, Geoffrey Kerrick and wife Cheryl of Huntingdon Valley, Howard D. Kerrick and wife Kimberly of Blakeslee; a daughter, Julie Kerrick-Geiser of Blakeslee; a brother, William Kerrick and wife Joann of Willits, CA; a sister, Clara Alves of Half Moon Bay, CA; six grandchildren, and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 4 from the Blakeslee United Methodist Church with Rev. James Healey and Rev. Theodore McCabe officiating. Interment of Dan's cremated remains will follow.
