Wilbert (Billy) Walter Kleintop Sr., 88, of Saylorsburg died Tuesday, January 31 in his home.

Billy, the son of the late George and Lizzie (Barlieb) Kleintop was the widower of Iva (Frable) Kleintop, with whom he shared over sixty years of life and love. A wondeful father to Wilbert Jr. and wife Charlotte, Billy was also a treasured grandfather to Jeff and wife Kellee Jo Kleintop and Crystal (nee Kleintop) and Christopher Robertson. Billy was also a loving great grandfather to Siobhan and Zebulon Kleintop and Alyssa Rinehamer.

Surviving also are sisters-in-law, Shirley Kleintop and Betty Kleintop; Also sister-in-law Annie Fehnel and her husband Frank Fehnel; godchildren Corinna and Jesse Bender. Billy also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

Billy was the brother of the late Kenneth, Allen and Ernest Kleintop.

Born in Saylorsburg, Billy was a lifetime resident of the area. He was an Army veteran and retired from Bethlehem Steel. Billy was a member of St. Matthew's United Church of Christ in Kunkletown and he was on the committee for the Eldred Township Veteran's Memorial.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 4 at St. Matthew's United Church of Christ with Rev. Jennifer Bannerman officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
