Joseph W. McConnell III, 46, of Kingston and formerly of Albrightsville, died Tuesday, January 31 in Wilkes Barre.

Born in Port Jervis, NY he was a son of the late Joseph W. McConnell Jr. and the late Sharon (Schwartzman) McConnell.

He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by two sons, Cody McConnell of Staten Island, NY and Joseph W. McConnell IV of Kingston and three sisters, Jo-Ann Ciranni of Staten Island, NY, Michelle Larry of Lansdale and Veronica Somoleski of Kingston.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 4 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, with Monsignor John Bergamo officiating. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
