Peter Mark Hogden, 54, of Saylorsburg, PA, died on March 31, 2017, with his family around him. Loving husband of Sissel Saksen Hogden and son of the late Jon and Gladys Hogden of Smithtown, NY. He was a former resident of Smithtown NY and Babylon, NY. He attended Smithtown West High School and afterward enlisted in the US Navy, where he quickly rose to the position of Quartermaster. Peter worked many years as a Construction Superintendent with the firm Scorcia & Diana Associates and for the last 15 years was the Facilities Manager for Grace Church School and Grace Church in New York City. He was a longtime coach with the West End Soccer League in Brodheadsville, PA and an avid sailor and fisherman. Beloved father of sons Jon Paul and Arne and daughter Randi, and brother to Jon Steven Hogden, the late Paul Andrew Hogden and Carla Hogden Retnauer. His memory will be cherished by friends and family both here and in Norway. A memorial service will held on Saturday, April 8 at 7:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home in Brodheadsville, with Rev. David Felker officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 8 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until the time of the service.
