Patricia Crowley, 64, of Effort, passed away on Monday, October 2 in Brookmont Healthcare Center, Effort.

She was the wife of James Crowley. They celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary in September.

Born in Hackensack, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William Borer and the late Barbara (Manning) Borer.

Patricia was a member of the Birches III Board of Directors for over twenty years. She worked tirelessly to save the Association money on all insurance, signage, and construction.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jose Crowley of Austin, TX; a daughter, Christine Martinez and companion Justin Schimminder of Effort; a brother, Ronald Cekala; two sisters, Joan Thomson and JacQueline Borer; five grandchildren, Sydney Martinez and Kayla Martinez of Effort, Sloan Crowley, Josh Crowley and Seth Crowley of Austin, TX.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 7 at 10:00 AM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7 at 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
