Dorothea J. Kresge, 90, of Kunkletown, passed away on Friday, October 6 in Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehab Center, Lehighton.

Born in Kunkletown, she was the daughter of the late Almer A. Kresge and the late Bertha E. (Hawk) Kresge.

Dorothea worked as a sewing machine operator at Scotty's Fashions for most of her life.

She is survived by six sisters, Esther Kuntzman and husband William, Darlene Beers and husband Robert, Sandra Kresge, Cinderella Kresge, Betty Snyder and husband David all of Kunkletown and Grace Everett of Palmerton; two brothers, Sterling Kresge and wife Ellen, Delbert "Butch" Kresge and wife Sandy, both of Kunkletown; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wilbur Kresge and a sister, LaRue Borger.

Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
