Obituary for Linda Lou Mosier (Haydt)

Linda Lou Mosier, 70, of Effort, passed away on Wednesday, October 11 in her home.

She was the wife of the late Henry Mosier.

Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late David Haydt and the late Eva (Keller) Haydt.

Linda worked as a book keeper at American Ribbon Craft & Fabric in Stroudsburg for over twenty five years.

She was a member of the Effort Methodist United Church in Effort.

She is survived by a son, Scott Mosier and wife Joyce of Palmerton; a daughter, Susan Mosier of Saylorsburg; two brothers, Marvin Haydt and Paul Haydt; three sisters, Evelyn Bartholomew, Blanche Strausberger, Marie Andrews; three grandchildren, Gabrielle Dzwonkowski, Ashley Mosier, and Natalie Mosier. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Delbert Haydt, Evan Haydt, and a sister, Jane Haydt.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 18 at 7:00 PM from the Effort United Methodist Church, Effort with Rev. Robin Fisher officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18 at 6:00 PM until the time of the service at the church. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West End Community Ambulance Assn. P.O. Box 200 Effort, PA 18330.
