Kathleen Vitanza, 54, of Albrightsville, passed away Sunday, April 29, in her home surrounded by her family.

She was the loving wife of Carl A. Vitanza. They celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary in September.

Born in Long Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. Di Marino and the late Patricia (Pelcher) Di Marino.

Kathleen worked as a secretary for Twin Builders in Albrightsville for over twelve years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Kris Kalaf of San Diego, Joseph C. Vitanza of Albrightsville, Charles R. Vitanza of Albrightsville; a brother, Joseph Di Marino and wife Lisa of Hicksville, NY; three sisters, Helen Battaglini and husband Ezio of Poughquag, NY, Ann Schmidt and husband Edward of Stroudsburg, Patricia Salerno and husband John of Wappingers Falls, NY; and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 3 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Cremation will follow in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
