Jean D.  Motts (Stout)
Jean D. (Stout) Motts, 85, of McMichaels, passed away Friday, May 11, in her home.

She was the loving wife of the late Martin R. Motts. They celebrated 65 years of marriage together.

Born in Snydersville, she was the daughter of the late Forrest Stout and the late Edith "Jennie" (Shick) Stout.

Jean was the secretary/bookeeper for her husband's business, Mott's Sunoco Auto Repair and Radiators for many years.

Jean was an avid cook and baker. She also liked fishing, and enjoyed many summers taking trips to Canada with her husband. Most of all, she loved and adored her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.

She is survived by her son, Martin "Skip" Motts and wife Linda of Smethport; her daughter, Linda Cotto and husband Angel of McMichaels; two grandchildren, Jennifer Cotto and Haley Motts; a sister, Dorothy Bittenbender of Snydersville; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Madlyn Motts, and two brothers, William "Buzz" Stout and Fred "Fud" Stout.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 14 at 11:00 AM in Buena Vista Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Penn State THON, The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA 16802.
