Robert "Buck" Black, 66, of Effort, passed away on Sunday, May 20 in his home.

He was the loving companion of Barbara (VanWinkle) Deppner for over thirty seven years.

Born in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Percy House and the late Helen (Ricker) House.

Robert was a truck driver for various companies throughout his life and also was a former owner/operator of his chimney sweep company,The Chimney Man.

He was a family man, and was a loving father, grandfather, companion, and made sure his family came first. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

In addition to his companion Barbara, he is survived by three sons, Brice House, Jason Deppner, Clifford Williams; six daughters, Kelly House, Stacey House, Amanda Paff, Brandi Deppner, Wendy Williams, Jennifer Smith; twenty one grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara House.

Services will be scheduled on a later date at the convenience of the family.
