Obituary for Agnes C. Hennet (Williams)

Agnes C. Hennet, 96, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Friday, July 19 in Brookmont Health Care Center, Effort.

She was the wife of the late Alfred Paul Hennet Sr.

Born in Tannersville, she was a daughter of the late Ernest K. and Mary Elizabeth (Hartman) Williams.

She had worked for the Ronson Corp. in Delaware Water Gap for twenty years.

She was a member of Neola United Methodist Church.

Agnes enjoyed sewing and crocheting, but especially baking. A snow-bird, she loved going to their home in Old Town, FL for the winters.

She is survived by six children, Alfred Paul Hennet Jr. of Effort, Catherine Seaman and her companion David of Spring City, Lynn Brush of Cresco, Thomas R. Hennet and his wife Lynn of Stroudsburg, June Berger and her husband Thom of Brodheadsville and Jean Deiter and her husband Raymond of Lowell, VT; a brother, Norman Williams of Old Town, FL; two sisters, Edna Mae Schaffer of Wind Gap and Alice Jean Scott and her husband Richard in MD; fifteen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Lockard, Paul Williams, Ada Beagle, Mary Jane Lucrezi, Ruth Ann Yetter, Margaret Faulstick and Ernest Williams Jr.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 17 from Christ Hamilton United Lutheran Church with Rev. Todd Glasmire officiating. Interment will be in Kellersville Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 17 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
