Obituary for Albertina Connors (Wilson)

Albertina (Wilson) Connors, 97, of Effort, passed away on Monday, July 26, in Brookmont Healthcare Center, Effort.

She was the loving wife of the late George Connors. They celebrated 62 years of marriage together before his passing in 2016.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Wilson and the late Bertha (Schneider) Wilson.

Albertina was a loving homemaker for most of her life, and was also an insurance adjuster for Royal Globe Inc. in Manhattan for over fifteen years. She was an avid crochetier, making beautiful sweaters and blankets for her family. Most of all, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family.

She is survived by a son, Daniel Connors and his wife Patricia of Farmingdale, Long Island, NY; a daughter, Patricia Bilski of Effort; a sister, Ruth of Succasunna, NJ; three grandchildren, Kevin Bilski, Jennifer, Bilski, Justin Connors; and six great grandchildren, Jonathan, Julianna, Brayden, Jason, HeatherRae, and Aria. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Robert Wilson.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
