Obituary for Andrew J. Komonchak
Andrew J. Komonchak, 71, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 10 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
He was the loving husband of the late Lee Ann (Rozetar) Komonchak. They had been married for 26 years at the time of her passing in 2019.
Born in Nyack, NY he was a son of the late Andrew W. and Margaret (Ferdon) Komonchak.
Andrew was a gas technician for the Orange and Rockland Utility Co. for thirty four years, retiring in 2007.
He was a die-hard New York Yankee fan and loved collecting baseball cards and other memorabilia but first and foremost, he loved his family most of all.
He is survived by a son, Andrew Komonchak of New Castle, DE; a daughter, Amy Mascelli of Pompton Lakes, NJ and two grandchildren, Ava and Luke Mascelli.
A celebration of life will be held on a later date at the convenience of the family. Cremation will take place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
The Kresge Funeral home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, is in charge of arrangements.
