Obituary for Angel Luis Ramirez
Angel Luis Ramirez, 77, of Effort, formerly of New York, passed away Monday, October 24, at home, with his family by his side.
He was the loving husband of Iris Carrasquillo. They spent 56 wonderful years together.
Born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Adriana Graniela.
Angel was a police officer for the NYPD for twenty years, and was an Army Veteran. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.
In addition to his wife, Iris, he is survived by three daughters, Angela Ramirez-Triantis and her husband Anastasios "Tom", Linda Ramirez, Yvette Rodriguez; a sister, Carmen Ramirez; six grandchildren, Reiss, Arrington, Angelina, Justin, Julien, Anna; and two great grandchildren, Audrey and Andrea.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on a later date at the convenience of the family.
