Obituary for Anna K. Mosteller (Meseros)

Anna K. Mosteller, 72, of Stroudsburg, passed away Monday, September 6, in St. Luke's Hospital-Monroe Campus.

She was the loving wife of Chris E. Mosteller. They celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary in August.

Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late John Meseros and the late Margaret (Zver) Meseros.

Anna worked in medical supply for several years. Later on, she spent the remaining of her years working at Dollar Tree in Bartonsville. She always enjoyed working there, and loved her coworkers and customers. If someone called off, they knew who to call, as Anna was always willing to come in to work. At a young age she became a mother, and thrived in taking care of her children, as well as her husband and the rest of the family. She was the best mother in the world, a wonderful wife, and loved all of her sisters who she was very close with. She was also a fun-loving mother, who had a passion for music, such as Metallica and Pink Floyd, and loved attending concerts. She also enjoyed watching Jeopardy and soap operas, hunting and fishing when she was younger, and playing the lottery. She was an avid sports fan, especially rooting for the San Francisco 49ers. She also had a knack for fantasy football, and would often do well against family and friends. She always enjoyed taking her yearly trips to Seaside Heights in New Jersey with her family. Most of all, she was the most loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, William Sinwell IV of Scranton; two daughters, Marlene Taenzer and her husband Erik of Tannersville, Denise DiGloria of Scranton; a sister, Helen Jarinko and her husband Rodney of Cherryville; six grandchildren, Kaylee, Steven Jr., Kenneth, Mariah, Ashley, Joshua; and two great grandchildren, Auorah, and Autumn. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret Connors, Irene Tokonitz, Marie Mertus, Elizabeth Peebler, and her former husband, Douglas King.

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 10 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Stroudsburg.
