Obituary for Anthony J. Formisano Jr.
Anthony J. Formisano, Jr., 53, of Scranton, passed away Monday, December 25, at home.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the loving son of Anthony J. Formisano, Sr. and the late Virginia (Carbone) Formisano.
Anthony was a funny, crafty, and good-hearted man who would always lend a hand to others in need. He enjoyed visiting casinos, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was also a caring dog owner of Stormy and his beloved late dog, Max. He was a loving and caring son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Anthony will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.
In addition to his father, Anthony Sr., he is survived by his son: Joseph Formisano; brothers: Keith Formisano and his wife, Tanya; and Justin Formisano; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 3, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Funeral services will follow at 6:30 PM with Rev. David Felker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Recovery Centers of America, 2201 Renaissance Boulevard, 3rd Floor, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
