Obituary for Antonio S. Garcia
Antonio S. Garcia, 82, of Brodheadsville, passed away Wednesday, February 27 in Pleasant Valley Manor, Stroudsburg.
He was the loving husband of Evelyn (Serra) Garcia. They celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary in September.
Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Pedro Garcia and the late Angelina (Santana) Garcia.
Antonio was a loving husband, father, and brother. He also enjoyed bowling and would go to the bowling alley on the weekends with his son. He will be deeply missed by all of his friends and family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Mark Santana of Halifax, PA, Antonio Garcia of Bayonne, NJ; a daughter, Michelle Garcia of Albrightsville; three brothers, Luis Garcia of Puerto Rico, Andy Garcia of Cresco, PA, Tito Garcia of North Bergen, NJ; two sisters, Connie Garcia of Orlando, FL, and Nilsa Garcia of Bethlehem. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Santana, and a sister, Nelly Ruperto.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 2 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM with Rev. Michael Quinnan officiating.
