Obituary for Betty C. Budge (Williams)
Betty C. (Williams) Budge, 94, of Feasterville, formerly of Saylorsburg, passed away at home after her long battle with cancer on Saturday, June 15, 2019.
She was the loving wife of the late John R. Budge. They celebrated 56 years of marriage together before his passing in 2000.
Born in Saylorsburg, she was the daughter of the late John Williams and the late Alice (Keller) Williams.
Betty was a floor lady and a sewing machine operator in the garment industry for many years. She later worked at Burger King in Wind Gap for fifteen years and retired in 2010. She was a graduate of Pen Argyl High School in 1940. She also worked for AVON and was the longest active seller for the corporation, spanning over twenty five years. She was a multiple time cancer survivor, and fought courageously many times throughout her life. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and other members of the family. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family.
She is survived by a son, Terry Budge and his wife Cheryl of Feasterville; two daughters, Jeanne Ott and her husband Randy of Pen Argyl, Deborah Miller and her husband Rodney of Saylorsburg; three grandchildren, Jamie Parsons-Ott, Jarrett Ott, Kyle Miller; two step grandchildren, Donald Predmore and George Predmore; and four step great grandchildren, Emma Jae Predmore, Abbie Predmore, Ethan Predmore, and Austin Predmore. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Budge, two brothers, and a sister.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 20 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Suzanne Brooks-Cope officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Saylorsburg.
