Obituary for Betzaida "Betsy" Maldonado
Betzaida "Betsy" Maldonado, 52, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at home.
Born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, she was a loving daughter of Nelida (DeJesus) and the late Ramon Maldonado, Jr.
As a child, Betsy sang in the choir and was a soloist for the St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church in the Bronx. She loved to read and write and had such a light-hearted personality. She always enjoyed making people laugh with her wonderful sense of humor. Most of all, she was a loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her very large and loving family.
In addition to her mother, Betsy is survived by her sisters; Wanda Davila and her husband Freddy of Holbrook, Long Island; and Lizabeth Maldonado and her husband William of Saylorsburg; nephews: Steven Ray and Ryan Michael Davila; niece: Anya Hernandez; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Felicita Martinez.

There are no services at this time. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
