Carolyn E. Leauber, 93, of Harrisburg and formerly of Appenzell, passed away on Monday, November 19 in The Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg, where she had resided for the past six years.

She was the wife of the late Marvin C. Leauber.

Born in Appenzell, she was a daughter of the late Emery and Emma (Miller) Anglemire.

Carolyn had worked at Connaught Labs in Swiftwater for ten years. She had lived most of her life in Appenzell and was a member of St. Mark's Community Lutheran Church.

She is survived by three sons, Leslie Leauber of Harrisburg, Lynn Leauber of Effort and Chris Leauber of Watertown, TN; a sister, Madelyn Reimel of Stroudsburg; four grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, six great grandchildren, six step great grandchildren and four step great great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1:00 PM from St. Mark's Community Lutheran Church in Appenzell with Rev. Paulette Obrecht officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Appenzell. Cremation will have taken place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
