Cecil E. Cornell, 66, of Effort, passed away Wednesday, February 9 in Brookmont Healthcare Center, Effort.
Born in Germany, he was the son of the late Cecil W. Cornell and the late Gertrud L. (Hering) Cornell.
He was a US Air Force Veteran.
Cecil is survived by a son, Cecil Anderson and his wife Brenda of Warrensburg, MO; a daughter, Nicole Vieck and her husband Tim of Fort Worth, TX; a brother, Brooks Vail and his wife Kirsten of Dacono, CO; and four grandchildren, Brayden, Kalista, Tristan, and Tanner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cecilia L. Novak.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation will take place in H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
