Obituary for Cecilia Hansen (D'Andrea)
Cecilia Hansen, 67, of Brodheadsville, passed away Monday, October 31, in St. Luke's Hospital - Bethlehem.
She was the loving wife of the late Jens T. Hansen. They celebrated 43 wonderful years of marriage together before his passing in 2018.
Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Rocco D'Andrea and the late Emma (Smith) D'Andrea.
Cecilia always brought warmth to any room she entered. She was very personable, friendly, bubbly, and incredibly passionate and kind. Most of all, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all her friends and family.
She is survived by two sons, Jens Hansen and his wife Britta of Effort, Erik Hansen and his wife Jill of Effort; two daughters, Inge Burlew and her husband Timothy of Effort, Dana Hansen-Walters and her husband Robert of Brodheadsville; and her grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Erik D'Andrea.
Entombment of the ashes will be on a later date at the convenience of the family in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville.
